Philadelphia-based multi-hyphenate Moor Mother returns to the Anti- label for her ninth solo LP entitled The Great Bailout. Another thematically rich and musically dense collection of songs weaving spoken word, noise, jazz, and electronica through Moor Mother’s otherworldly lens, The Great Bailout is also among her most collaborative work to date. Guests ranging from Angel Bat Dawid to Mary Lattimore make impassioned appearances here, as Moor Mother explores oppression of all forms, and its sociopolitical impact on the world around her.
